6. National Night Out- Save the Date: August 5th!

Our San Benito County Sheriff's Department is hosting a National Night Out event on Aug. 7 in the Target parking lot. This fun event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. and will include music, entertainment, free hot dogs, soda, and tips on childhood safety. This is a great opportunity to participate in a community-wide event!

**Hint- This would be a great method of outreach for our 4-H program and a wonderful event to add to your clubs annual All Reasonable Efforts Report! If you are interested in getting a group together to have an information booth at this event contact me at the office!

7. All-Star Project Thank You!

On Saturday, June 7th my All-Star project took place at Dreamor Ranch in San Juan.  We hosted an educational horsey fun day for about 35 students from Calaveras and the day literally went off without a hitch.  When I stood up at the end of the bus ride and asked the kids if they had a good time I was met with a resounding ‘Yes!'  In my opinion the day could not have gone better, but there was no way I could have pulled it off without all the amazing people who came and helped so much; Erin, Lara and Rachel Taylor, Ashley Lange, Skye Lompa, Evelyn, Ethan, and Kristel Reyes, Elizabeth and Jason Kadluboski, Emilie, Jack, Rick, and Anita Sarringhaus, Linnae and Darcy Rodrigues, Maddie Erickson, and finally my mom, dad, and sister Ed, Dena, and Jessica Bless.  Thank you all for your help with this amazing event.
