LCORT 2017
Is the leadership conference of the former South Central Section counties: Kern, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, Tulare, and Tuolumne.  


WHEN: Check-in: Friday, January 27, 2017, 6:00pm-8:00pm.  Adjournment: Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Noon.


WHERE: Wonder Valley Ranch, 6450 Elwood Road, Sanger, CA 93657.  Go to for driving directions.


WHO: 4-H members age 12-14 as of 12/31/16 in South Central Section and Central Area counties.  County Leadership Teams: 15-18 years old as of 12/31/16, selected by South Central Section counties. Chaperones: Adult Volunteer 4-H Leaders and 4-H Staff age 21 and up, selected by counties. Note: Each county with delegates must send at least one chaperone. Counties must meet the required ratio of 1 chaperone per 8 delegates per gender.  LCORT conference staff, by invitation only


COST: $150 for South Central Section counties
$165 for other counties in the Central Area
Fee includes 2 nights lodging, 4 meals (Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast), snacks, & T-shirt.


WHY: To define and develop your leadership abilities; to have an opportunity to meet
and share ideas with other 4-H youth and adults; to expand your perspective on the world around you and to have an enjoyable time.


HOW TO REGISTER AS A YOUTH: Complete the following forms and turn them in the 4-H Office.  Space is limited.  County Council will pay your registration in full.
